Terms of service

General terms and conditions (AGB) for Wunderblick.

This version: 7 November 2026 · Copy to save or print · Earlier: 6 November 2026

The short version

  • Wunderblick is for businesses, not consumers.
  • Your content stays yours. We use it only to run the service for you.
  • The free plan costs nothing. Paid plans renew monthly or yearly and you can cancel for the end of the term.
  • You can take your data and leave at any time, with no switching fee.
  • German law applies, with courts in Frankfurt am Main.
  • This summary is here to help. The numbered sections below are what counts.

1. Scope

These terms apply between Mynd GmbH, Leipziger Straße 8, 60487 Frankfurt am Main (“we”), and the business that signs up for Wunderblick (“you”). Your own terms do not apply unless we agree to them in text form. Individual agreements take priority.

2. Businesses only

Wunderblick is offered only to entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB, legal entities under public law and special funds under public law. By signing up you confirm that you act for such a business. Consumers may not sign up, and the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers does not apply.

3. The service

Wunderblick is a cloud service for reviewing media and collecting feedback. The features and limits of each plan are shown on our website and in the app. We develop the service further and may change features, provided the core functions stay available and the change is reasonable for you. We announce significant cutbacks in advance.

4. How the contract is made, account and team

  • Steps. You fill in the sign-up form, tick the box to accept these terms and the data processing agreement, and press Create account. We then email you a code, and entering it confirms your address. The contract starts at that moment, and we confirm it by email.
  • Correcting your entries. Until you press Create account you can change anything in the form. If something is missing or wrong, the form says so and keeps what you typed. Afterwards you can change your name, email and workspace name in the settings.
  • Keeping the contract. We store which versions you accepted, when, and for which company. Every version stays available to read and save: each document links to a copy of its current and earlier versions, and our confirmation email links to the ones you accepted.
  • Language. The contract is made in English.
  • Codes of conduct. Mynd GmbH’s general Code of Conduct applies to how we work. We have not signed up to any other code of conduct for this service.

Keep your access details secret. You are responsible for what the members and reviewers you invite do in your workspace. Invited reviewers do not become our contract partners.

5. Your content

Your files and comments remain yours. You give us the non-exclusive right, for the term of the contract, to store, copy, convert (for example into thumbnails and video streams), display and transmit them as far as needed to run Wunderblick for you. We do not use them for anything else, and we do not use them to train AI models.

You must have the rights and a legal basis for what you upload or review. You may not upload unlawful content or malware, attack or overload the service, get around its limits, resell it without our agreement, or review third-party websites without permission.

If there are concrete signs of a breach or a security risk, we may block the content or account concerned. We tell you and lift the block once the reason is gone.

Anyone can report content they consider illegal to beratung@mynd.com, with an explanation, the exact link or location, their name and email, and a statement that the report is made in good faith (Art. 16 Digital Services Act). We check reports promptly and carefully, and tell both the person reporting and the customer concerned what we decided and why (Art. 17). Either can ask us to review the decision or go to court.

6. Availability and support

We run Wunderblick with the care of a prudent provider and aim for high availability. Short interruptions for maintenance and security updates can occur, and we schedule them for quiet hours where we can. Fixed service levels apply only if we agree them separately. Support is available by email at beratung@mynd.com.

7. Plans and prices

  • Free trial. Your first workspace is free for 30 days within the limits shown, with no card needed. After that it moves to the free plan unless you choose a paid one.
  • Free plan. Free of charge within the limits shown. We can change or end it with 30 days’ notice in text form.
  • Paid plans. Monthly or yearly as you choose, at the price shown when you order, plus VAT where it applies.
  • Changing plans. A move to a bigger plan, or from monthly to yearly billing, applies at once and you pay the difference for the current term. A move to a smaller plan, or from yearly to monthly billing on the same plan, applies from your next term. Any credit from a change is set against your next invoices.
  • Add-on packs. They are subscriptions of their own and keep running until you cancel them, also if you change or end your plan. Deleting the workspace ends them (section 8).
  • Online checkout. Polar Software, Inc. acts as reseller and seller of record: it sells the plan, takes payment, issues the invoice, handles tax and decides refunds, under its own terms. We provide the service itself under these terms. Renewal and cancellation work as described here, and you cancel in the billing settings.
  • Invoice customers. Where we invoice you directly, invoices are due within 14 days.
  • Price changes. These apply from your next term. We give at least 6 weeks’ notice in text form, and you can cancel before they take effect.
  • Failed payments. If a payment stays open after a reminder, we may reduce your workspace to the free plan’s limits. We do not delete your content because of this.

8. Term and cancellation

You can end the free plan at any time by deleting your workspace or account. Paid plans renew for the same term unless you cancel for the end of the current term, in the billing settings or in text form. Deleting a workspace or account ends its paid plan and add-on packs at once, with no refund for the time left. We can cancel a paid plan with 3 months’ notice to the end of a term. Both sides keep the right to terminate for good cause (§ 314 BGB).

9. Taking your data and leaving (EU Data Act)

You can switch to another provider or to your own systems at any time.

  • Starting. Tell us in text form. You do not need to give any notice period, and we start without undue delay.
  • Transition. Up to 30 days. We help within reason, support your exit plan, keep the service running with due care, maintain security and tell you about known risks to continuity. If 30 days are technically not possible, we tell you within 14 working days and name a period of up to 7 months. You can extend the transition once.
  • What you can take. All of the following, and this list is complete:
    • Files: the original of every version, comment attachments and screenshots saved with comments, and your workspace logo.
    • Records: your workspace, members and roles, projects, tags, folders, files, versions, review layers and links with their settings, reviewers and guests with their names and emails, comments and replies including hidden ones, drawings, timecodes, positions, statuses, priorities, likes, mentions, review decisions, AI brief text, the record of what was agreed, and the activity log.
Every record keeps a stable ID, so replies, versions, authors, screenshots and decisions can be connected again elsewhere. The workspace owner can download all of it in Settings, Data export. Records come as JSON and files as ZIP in their original formats. The structure, standards and limits are set out in our data export register, which we keep up to date and which forms part of these terms.
  • What is left out. Only the following, and this list is complete too:
    • Security data: password hashes, sessions, one-time codes, and the secret part of links and their passwords. Passing them on would endanger your accounts, and no other system could use them.
    • Internal running data: server logs, rate-limit counters, background job states and our references to payment and video providers. They say nothing about your work and are specific to how Wunderblick runs.
    • Copies we make ourselves from your files: thumbnails, playback copies of video and audio, audio waveforms, unpacked courses, converted slides where the originals were kept, and AI brief screenshots. The originals hold everything they contain. If your new system needs them, ask us and we provide what we can.
  • Retrieval. You have at least 30 days after the transition ends to get your data.
  • Ending. The contract ends when the switch is complete, or at the end of the notice period if you only want your data erased, and we tell you. After the retrieval period we fully erase all exportable data and digital assets, and backups age out within 30 days.
  • Cost. We charge no switching fees. Fees already due for a paid term you agreed remain due.
  • Jurisdiction and access by authorities. The jurisdiction our infrastructure is subject to, and our measures against unlawful international access to data held in the EU, are published on our security page (Art. 28 Data Act).

10. Defects

Please tell us about defects promptly, and we will fix them within a reasonable time. Strict liability for defects that already existed when the contract was made (§ 536a(1) BGB) is excluded. Reductions in fees apply only to paid plans.

11. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act and for guarantees we have expressly given.

For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, meaning one that makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely. Liability is then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. For lost data, it is limited to what restoring the data would have cost if you had kept usual backups of your source files.

On the free plan we are liable for slight negligence only in the cases of injury and product liability named above. These limits also protect our employees and agents.

12. Confidentiality

Each side keeps the other’s confidential information secret and uses it only for this contract. This continues after the contract ends.

13. Data protection

Our privacy policy explains how we handle data for our own purposes. For personal data in your workspace we act as your processor under our data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms.

14. AI features

Voice transcription and translation are machine-generated and can be wrong, so please check the results. An AI brief replaces the names, email addresses and phone numbers it finds in comment text. It does not change screenshots, quoted document text or file names, so check it before sharing it. It goes to whichever AI tool you choose, and you are responsible for using that tool.

15. Changes to these terms

We can change these terms for good reason, for example new laws or features. We tell you by email at least 6 weeks beforehand. If you object in text form within that time, the old terms continue and we may cancel with regular notice. If you do not object, the new terms apply, and our message will remind you of this. Changes to the main obligations need your express agreement.

16. Final provisions

Text form (for example email) is enough for notices under these terms. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For merchants, legal entities under public law and special funds under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt am Main. If a provision is invalid, the rest stays in force and the statutory rules apply in its place. These terms are written in English. Legal terms are to be understood in the sense of German law.
